The major networks are terrible at managing shows. This show looked really promising from the trailer alone, and NBC didn't even bother to air it? This is why such good shows end up on cable. The major networks just want to air the same old crap that will boost their ratings so they get more money from advertising. That's it. It's why we get stuck with predictable comedies and cop/courtroom/hospital dramas. It's food for the masses, and the real original stuff is ignored and cast aside. Stupid.

This looks like it has potential but will it be Lost (complex, intriguing characters, a complicated plot) or Heroes(which has become a joke). And will NBC cancel it after 4 episodes like they usually do. It is good to see though that in the midst of an apocalyptic attack from aliens that the cell phone towers will still work.

Intriguing take on the alien invasion scenario. As a trailer this is successful.

The people speaking of humans and Earth "as a world" appear to be aliens who, I imagine, follow the invading aliens around to try and save the worlds they target, taking over some of the beings of those worlds. Reminiscent of Greg Bear's (a writer) The Forge of God and Anvil of Stars, in case someone else read those.
