And remarkably enough, despite having his absolutely worst season so far, and with his teammate having one of his best seasons in his career, Lewis is still equal if not ahead in most categories this season (same # of wins, more poles, beat Jenson clearly in the qualifyings, same # of FLaps). If it wasn't for the standings, he would have beaten him again despite all those incidents and lost opportunities. I hope we will see the best LH in 2012.

aside from the dnf due to crashes i thought he had an ok year considering the new pirellis didn't suit his driving style. he managed to change his driving style enough to make the tires work but he still managed to keep his hard charging style he's always been known for.
i can't wait until mclaren builds an RB7 type car. the MP4 22/23 was good but not 10+ wins a year great. here's hoping the MP4/27 is that car or leading to it like the RB6 to the RB7.
Hamilton is a very good driver yes he had a very bad 2011 season but when you are watching these tree parts you know he's. In 2011 he had a bad season and everyone post shitty comments for him. Vettel will have his worst season. When you're watching this video from 6:36 to 6:58 its hard to overtake there in china when he overtake Michael. There are many overtakes from Hamilton he is aggressive and that's why i like him. The 2011 season will be boring with out him.

what I like about Hamilton, and this video shows that a few times, is that he finds overtaking spots where noone else does. Everybody else says you can't overtake at turn X and Lewis just goes, oh yeah? and overtakes a few times on that spot. The only other driver that I've seen being able to do that was Senna.

It's not dangerous to break the tow(Petrov was quite a bit behind him doing the same speed as Lewis and not really closing on him) hence it wasn't dangerous. They didn't give Lewis a penalty because it was fully legal! They only changed the rule after this incident (shown in the video).

This video just shows how he won in china 2011 by overtaking 4 top drivers without having to use the DRS! He doens´t need all that artificial stuff to overtake, that´s why he never waits for the DRS zone to make a move. BY FAR THE ULTIMATE OVERTAKER!!
Really great video! i've watched all of the ones you've posted and they're brilliant. Lewis makes the hairs on my arms stand up! I was at the Silverstone Grand Prix on sunday and he was just out of this world! the closest i could compare it to was when i went to the European GP at Donnington 1993 and saw the great Ayrton Senna!....The result different but the talent the same!

Button, Schumacher, Hamilton etc, but by no means have McClaren or Ferrari have bad cars, just goes to prove that Vettel is a fantastic driver in a fantastic car, as much as I hate to admit, he would probably still get great results in another team. I don't like RBR though, McClaren are my fave.

2011 china grand prix was exciting too, lewis overtook button, rosberg, massa and finally vettel to win the race, superb driving from the mclaren driver. hamilton is in a league of his own without a doubt.

Really great video! i've watched all of the ones you've posted and they're brilliant. Lewis makes the hairs on my arms stand up! I was at the Silverstone Grand Prix on sunday and he was just out of this world! the closest i could compare it to was when i went to the European GP at Donnington 1993 and saw the great Ayrton Senna!....The result different but the talent the same!

I h8 the drivers who win the WDC coz of their car. Drivers like Vettel are good, but are boring 2 watch, and the main purpose of sport is entertainment. Since Hamilton started his F1 career, he should have won the championship every year, he is one of F1s most entertaining drivers to have existed. Button, Schumacher, Hamilton etc, but by no means have McClaren or Ferrari have bad cars, just goes to prove that Vettel is a fantastic driver in a fantastic car, as much as I hate to admit, he would probably still get great results in another team. I don't like RBR though, McClaren are my fave.

we all know what he can do given the right car, ahem mclaren. with the mp4-22/23 he would've been double world champion. $hit if he had the redbull RB6 he probably would've won 10 races in 2010. a driver is only as good as his car, lewis can compete for wins and championships on talent alone with an average car but if mclaren wants him to dominate like they did in 88 or like ferrari in 04, they have to build a better car. i hope that the MP4-26 will be that car that brings both titles back.

@Ralleee Don't think anyone has seen the new car yet. They've been testing with various designs and it seems they haven't run the 2011 wings either. The leap to make a goodun sooner or later, historically, is just a matter of time. Then we'll see Lewis in the right car and the right time, for the first time...
