I have watched the match on TV a lot of times and Hogan is getting monster cheers while Rock is getting anywhere from moderate cheers to audible booing (even a "Rocky sucks" chant at one point). You're right they cheered the ending, but outside of that i don't see how anyone can say it was 50-50. I think Hogan/Warrior from 1990 was 50-50. Hogan/Rock was not even close, IMO. My buddy was there live and he normally hates Hogan but cheered him because everyone else did (his words, not mine).

throughout the entire entrance, the camera could only focus on one anti hogan poster, because 90% were for hollywood and nWo

this was hogans last hurrah the match he had with rock was fantastic no doubt but hogan really needs to learn hes done and step aside now, the fans are sick f hulkamania and all that keeps happening is it gets shoved down our throats, i respect everything hogan has done for wrestling but i really am finding it hard to like the guy when he still acts like hes the biggest thing today and refusing to push the younger guys over his buddies who havent been over in 15 years and will never get over

True that. The entire nwo was majorly over in the WWF. Hall and Hogan had huge pops at wrestlemania 18. Don't let the video fool you, it was a major pop for Hogan and Hall, so much so that WWE brass quieted the crowd reaction on the DVD release of wrestlemania X8.

You can hear booes as well for hogan at the beggining...this crowd was also more of a neutral crowd because rock also got a big pop and when he got the pin alot of poeple went berserk so the crowd was more like 50-50.

LOL, you sound like Jim Ross in this video clip ("mixed reaction"). The crowd was about 90-10 in favor of Hogan, and I think I am being generous. Yes, the Rock got cheered in the finish, but that's about it. It wasn't even close.

I was actually there so I can tell from seeing live and in color. 90-10? Even you didn't believe that, anyone can tell its anywere around 40-60 or 50-50 by just watching the vid...since I was there that night it was very and I mean very close for both guys...but don't take it so seriously kid...its just a crowd reaction we're talking about here...

I have watched the match on TV a lot of times and Hogan is getting monster cheers while Rock is getting anywhere from moderate cheers to audible booing (even a "Rocky sucks" chant at one point). You're right they cheered the ending, but outside of that i don't see how anyone can say it was 50-50. I think Hogan/Warrior from 1990 was 50-50. Hogan/Rock was not even close, IMO. My buddy was there live and he normally hates Hogan but cheered him because everyone else did (his words, not mine).

Nah, I'm not taking it seriously at all. It is just a crowd reaction. I just disagree, that's all. Based on what they showed on TV and from those I have heard who were there live, the crowd reaction was largely in favor of Hulk. I mean 90-10 was an exaggeration, but I think 50-50 is incorrect as well.

have to agree with vladiator, its not anywere near 90-10, and from someone who was there I can tell you it was about 50 for rock and 50 for austin. Maybe a little more for hogan since it was like a homecoming for him.

This is official nWo theme WWE version called poison with static at the start and if actually fans who commenting on this knew that they wouldn have to ask. WWE losts rights to use frank shelleys nWo theme because they never paid for em out right wcw did this a lot including bookers and harlem heat theme wcw leased out the music for shows etc for small fee after all bisch spent money like nobodys business but wwe purchased it for invasion because booker wanted it.

I saw this show on the Wrestlemania anthology set and it does have a different song. I do not know if the original song was played live and later edited or what happened but I was disappointed to hear in my dvd a song that wasnt the original stuff.
