Love Craig as Bond, I do, each Bond is unique and different but really the title sequences for his films....really not up to par with the genre. -Shrugs- Just my opinion, but I mean Golden Eye, Goldfinger those were great opening credits.

Both of the new bond films were ok.Daniel Craig is a perfect james bond but the new movies feel like they are missing something that the old ones had. May be its because they ran out of books. I like the opening, like the actual video bit. Reminds me of some of the old Bond openings, like the astral map projection thing reminds me of You Only Live Twice, and the girls all spinning around reminds me of Live and Let Die in parts. But not a huge fan of the song!

The idea of Bond is that he is always changing and staying current. That's why each actor that played him brought their own bond to the table. I love all bond films but for a successful bond film in these times it must be up to date, therefore, more action, different music etc. Don't hate, embrace the changes Bond goes through, that's what makes it more interesting, they can't just remake Goldfinger every two years.

This was easily my favourite theme. If I wanted the same thing that was offered 40 years ago, I would find that on netflix. Humanity can only perceive time going in one direction. This tune and it's lyrics pay a good homage to back in the day while moving in that direction.

Quantum of Solace was ok, but it wasn't a stand alone film and actually became tedious at times. He looks alright to all the girls I've talked to about him anyway. I know what you mean about there not being a Bond Feeling, but they were going for a realistic version of Bond. I think that Daniel Craig does a good delivery of what the director was going for. I like Casino Royale because they keep everything realistic, like it could actually happen. A lot of people like the 'real' in it

Why has Quantum of Solace no gunbarrel in the opening sequence? Only a litte in the end. By Casino Royal it was OK for me (because it was Bonds first mission), but this? I hope BOND 23 is better, with Gunbarrel, with Q, with Monnypenny and all that stuff.
Rubbish. The only decent one in the last 15 years was "The World is Not Enoguh", which wasn't that great. This movie is one of the weakest of the whole franchise... including the movie itself.

This was easily my favourite theme. If I wanted the same thing that was offered 40 years ago, I would find that on netflix. Humanity can only perceive time going in one direction. This tune and it's lyrics pay a good homage to back in the day while moving in that direction.

Quantum of Solace was ok, but it wasn't a stand alone film and actually became tedious at times. He looks alright to all the girls I've talked to about him anyway. I know what you mean about there not being a Bond Feeling, but they were going for a realistic version of Bond. I think that Daniel Craig does a good delivery of what the director was going for. I like Casino Royale because they keep everything realistic, like it could actually happen. A lot of people like the 'real' in it

I actually quite like the song. Cool tone, great drums, dark chords, nice guitar hook...
The problem is the vocals. For the life of me I can't understand why they thought singing in unison was a good idea. Their voices don't blend at all.
They should have at least sung in harmony, but really for this kind of shouty song you just want one raw vocal.
Two together is just a mess. Sounds like karaoke or something!

I don't mind the song. Jack White's singing is a bit pitchy, but overall I like the dark sounding bass, creative drum bits, piano in general, and how it incorporates the classic bond theme song.
In no way is this worse, as a bond intro, than Madonna's mainstream, auto-tune garbage in die another day.

Like everyone else, I love the video, but the song just... it just... God, it just isn't very good. I won't lie, it has kind of grown on me, to the point that I can tolerate it (at first I couldn't stand listening to it), but I can't forgive it. As for the movie itself, the best that can be said is that it isn't another Die Another Day.
