Why is there not even ONE half-decent black country? What's their excuse? At the end of 1945 Japan had been nuked twice and lay in literal ruins. Just thirty years later their economy was stronger than it had ever been. Over the same period, nearly every single country in Africa, especially those in sub-Saharan Africa, started and ended up as basket-cases. Today they are basket-cases. One-hundred years from now they will basket-cases. Now why is that?
@b2c3d4 because what you forgot to mention was that during most of that time african countries were being imperislised by wealtheir europena, american and asian nations, not giving the natives and chance build up their economies. when the more powerful countries relinquished their control over these countries they were left with nothing... also racism was prevelent so foreign trade was probably refused to them, or if they did trade, it wasn't a fair trade. not to mention slavery...
