  • Here's the kicker: they want me to pay them $20.00/hr. to fix the software THEY SENT ME and advised to install.

    Kyle (HP 5016172) from the HP HELP line told me it was my option to update and therefore they were not responsible. Holy holy holy.

    The moral of the story: Don't buy HP.

    However, if there are others interested in some class-action, SIGN ME UP!

  • HERE'S HOW TO FIX IT. THROW IT OUT AND DON'T BUY ANOTHER HP MACHINE.

    I too, for the fourth time (or is it the fifth?) have scanning issues on my HP Office Jet Pro L7680. First it was the feeder.Then, software/scanner issues. 4 machines later it worked fine until latest update HP sent me.

    Now, with latest HP update, this machine tanked-again: I have lines running thru my scans.
