150 HP Evinrude outboard on 16 foot deep-V

My Ev'vy 150 on my 18' fiberglass will outrun this one. Complete rebuild on a 84, it will top out at 6000rpm.

A V6 is too heavy for that small a boat in any sort of swell. I'd find a in-line 4 instead.

i want to make a 135 mercury V6 on a 15 ft fletcher but its not for calm seas its in normal seas ..mediterainin ...... what do you think ??

Yep, a Fletcher, with reinforced transom and the engine set back a few inches in order to stop it from "walking" at top speed. Used on calm fjords, same conditions as rivers.

Oops, of course! Evinrude. Old video clip and the boat had 2 engines over its lifetime.

That's either an Evinrude or Johnson, not yamaha.
