Questions:

1) How you perform that dodge move at 0:35?

2) I have seen a counter grab that enemies perform when you fail to hit them. Any ideas how to do that?

2) after a succesful block, keep the right mouse button pressed in and you while do a judo throw

@MurdKnife Skyrim is not that good? It's pretty decent, you're free to do what you want on a huge chunk of land with thousands of npc's and decent physics. Also runs very smooth for what it offers. There has gone alot of programming in Skyrim, don't underestimate it. Skyrim is one of the few real games these days.

@BotheredMe Trust me, I have ten times more respect for Wolfire games than for Bethesda, if it's about the overgrowth vs skyrim argument. Even though Overgrowth is much more fun and deper gameplay than Skyrim, there are worse commercial games than Skyrim (CoD?). But yeah Overgrowth is just the perfect physics + fighting game, the kind of games I like. Also the reason why I played more on Overgrowth which is in alpha than the finished Skyrim.

@splatterkkk For an elder scrolls game Skyrim has pretty solid combat but yeah this combat beats all. That's the reason why I bought the game. It's fast paced, very dynamic, pure skill combat based on a great physics system.

@splatterkkk You can't compare this game's combat system to Skrim's. This game is focused almost entirely around combat and fighting, while Skyrim is an open world RPG with seemingly endless amounts of features, such as magic, enchanting and alchemy. All of which can be leveled up.

@splatterkkk Skyrim has a huge beautiful map, an epic story line and over 1000 quests, as well as a radiant story system which generates new quests. It also has in depth character customisation and development, along with some of the most open ended gameplay possible in modern video gaming. As far as combat goes, which it really isn't about, it has an in depth magic system, dual wielding, blocking and shield barging, special moves and finishers, archery and stealth assassinations.

@BleakColours as you said the games aren't comparable, but if you were to take everything from skyrim except the ability to fight, you have to agree that this game has a better combat mechanics. and to give credit where credit is due, its an indie game.. Bethesda could have dont a lot better considering the money they can toss around. (agian speaking only in terms of fighting system)

@the2eyedcyclops Right, an awesome example up to the point where you realise it's completely stupid. Once Overgrowth gets a huge freeroaming map with hundreds of characters with their own quests, daily routine, backstory, relationships and personality, an epic story line with it's own actually backed up lore, a quest system that actually generates new quests, the ability to marry, hunt, create your own weapons and armor, enchanting, farming, and countless other additions, I'll consider it.

@Dahxelb No I didn't mod the game a tiny bit, our rabbit friends just appear to have very strong legs to survive such big falls. You can still die from fall damage when you fall from very high like the rabbit with the spear at 4:08. He died because he fell from the highest pillar straight to the ground.
