@WumWip Thanks! I don't know who first came up with it - my mom, my grandmother, or someone else - but it was a tradition every year on my birthday to make these, from the time I was very little. (It pretty much stopped when I was 11 or 12, but at 47, I kind of wonder WHY. :) Now I realize that, at 47, I don't have to wait for my birthday! I can play with my food any day!
