Good movie, very underated, Heath played an excellent part along with a couple of his friends from Knights Tale, Mark Adddy & Shannon Sossymon, tragic love story, that you think is goin to be a long lasting one, until the Sin Eater comes along! heath ledger was a good man. no doubt about it. he was just doing what he loved to do and minding his own business, living his life, when at 28 years old he accidentally misused sleeping pills. i am catholic and even though the bible says that homosexuality is not right, i honestly dont give a shit. heath and i shared the same belief: that everyone deserves to be happy. and he made a statement with brokeback mountain and i will respect him forever for that and the impact he has made on my life.

He was always described as having a lot of energy. Anxiety and energy do not necessarily translate to drug use. In fact, he openly admitted to smoking large amounts of marijuana to cope with his anxiety. Yes, you could consider that to be drug use but it's classified as a controlled substance and has opposing effects to anxiety. I don't believe he was on any narcotics in this interview. He just had a genius mind that was difficult to control.
