@SnowAndOtherFun hmmm... i own a 29er and i've sailed a cherub and the 9er is inherently unstable where as i found the cherub quite easy to sail, and it went faster, so i'd say the Cherub (if you build it right!) is a better boat than the xx despite the fact i've never sailed one, i just don't think that they're wide enough for the rig size.
