I don't see it collapsing soon at all, it's only been around for 235 years which is not a lot when looking looking at empires of the past. As "democratic" and "free" as the United States may be, it is in almost every sense an EMPIRE. I don't see it collapsing soon at all, it's only been around for 235 years which is not a lot when looking looking at empires of the past. It is very likely that the U.S. will be around for more centuries to come. But there will come a day and time in a far off future when the United States will crumble and dissolve. I can definitely say that it will not surpass human existence. That's for sure.
