I love EVERY SINGLE SONG by Queen. (Yes, all 200~ of them, and the demos) They are simply amazing and all songs are filled with so much talent. Their music is truly a piece of art.

However! Thinking I had heard everything by Queen, I never knew the correct version of In The Lap Of The Gods was this! I simply thought that this and Revisited were the same. I got so shocked when I put my SHA CD in now for the first time.. Damn I love music

It's amazing how you can't accept other people's opinions. I mean, I had my likes and dislikes on Sheer Heart Attack, and I thought this particular song was good- not as much as Revisited or Killer Queen, but still good... and other people think it's good too. The basic highlight of the song for me in particular are Roger's screams and the ending of the song.

Yes, this song has many ridiculous elements, but they're combined in such a masterful way that the whole thing really feels like a blurry, impressionist-like composition. Sheer exploration for the sake of striking out to try something new for the sake of art - pure Freddie! I don't mind it.
