I'm probably not going to get a response, but I had a cheap casper vhs FOREVER ago, and watched it when I was little. I don't know where it's at now, but there was a cartoon on there, and I remember it very vaguely. It was like an extra cartoon that was included with the vhs (it wasn't a casper epsiode) All I remember was the short had a little kid and some really strange animal? I remember being disturbed by it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? lol

haha the fish and pelican is funny they did a similar thing with a mouse and cat in the very first casper cartoon. Btw any1 notice the footage of the ghosts flying out of the schoolhouse was also used in the red riding hood episode?

Casper sucks. He is way too gushy and so pathetically desperate to make friends. He thinks he's entitled to have friends for some reason and is so assumptive that anybody he encounters will be immediately become his friends. Casper cartoons were definitely established by this time,Casper's 3rd outing.Casper might initialy scare people or animals-but he wins the friendship of a group of animals or children by helping them.This turned out to be a winning formula for Casper from then on.

This was originally released as a Paramount "Noveltoon" in 1949, and the third in the "Casper" series, before his own series began in 1950- this is the 1956 "U.M.& M." TV print, with refilmed titles....
