@ModestJoe Yeh we have to drive but you don't have a have a big engine to produce a lot if power. That seems to be the american way of thinking - bigger is better. Why dont they give it a smaller engine with a turbo or supercharger. The technology exists but americans seem reluctant to exept it. Take the new vw polo gti for example, it produces 180bhp and 185lb/ft of torque and its a 1.4 which is tiny. Its really fuel efficent but increibly powerful considering the size.

@Prgach Fusion, Malabu, 200, Volt, cruze, Focus, Fesista, calaber, escape, aveo, avenger, and a few others get super great MPG. Most over 30Mpg. some over 40Mpg. We make fuel effecent cars. @Zinizzle I think your totally wrong about the dodge trucks.my neighbor bought an old 97 ram 3 years ago and they go like 5 or 6 times everyday it has never once failed to start or go.Sure it has a transmission leak but the people they got it from suck no care for what they sale should fix it.but for an old truck i am impressed how reliable it is dodge is good quality.Resale value why would gm or ford be worth more i will never give it for a ford or gm used noway that makes dodges easier to own.

@Prgach We can get V6 fuel economy from a V8. We have very small and fuel effecent cars and the only cheap European cars over here are VW's and they break down allot.

@Prgach Fusion, Malabu, 200, Volt, cruze, Focus, Fesista, calaber, escape, aveo, avenger, and a few others get super great MPG. Most over 30Mpg. some over 40Mpg. We make fuel effecent cars. We just have the large things like Ram but they still get good MPG for what they are. VW is bad over here. lolbut thanks for not beiing a dick.

wouldnt want either one in a 2500 though, too thirsty. i think the 6.0 vortec only gets around 12 mpg. may be better in this day and age.

Both my Brother and dad were die hard GM fans until they bought their new Rams. Listening to what they say and then watching this makes it really hard to wait to buy one. My 08 Silverado has been without a doubt, one of the worst vehicles I have ever owned, second only to my wifes Impala. Dodge, here I come!

looks nice but the resale value isn't there...i always did like the ram but the reliability on them was always poor along with most of Chrysler's vehicles, and i don't know if that multi link coil suspension is the way to go on a truck, i don't think the longevity will serve as well as leaf springs

@Zinizzle I think your totally wrong about the dodge trucks.my neighbor bought an old 97 ram 3 years ago and they go like 5 or 6 times everyday it has never once failed to start or go.Sure it has a transmission leak but the people they got it from suck no care for what they sale should fix it.but for an old truck i am impressed how reliable it is dodge is good quality.Resale value why would gm or ford be worth more i will never give it for a ford or gm used noway that makes dodges easier to own.

@arkansastrash320 sorry i'm not understanding what you're trying to say, i like the looks of the dodge but they were never rated higher then Ford or Chevy, and was always cheaper built, my uncle has a dodge truck that he took the best care of, and the transmission went out at 96k then head gasket at 100k, Fords and Chevys are built better and are more reliable...and the resale value is based on reliability and quality and so on, and it happens to be low.

@Zinizzle My problem is i don;t have the money to buy any brand of new pickup.I am going to start fixing up my old 67 dodge pickup i have had it since 1981.All the new trucks today ride like a nice car compared to the 60s trucks.The only thing i wish my old dodge has was power steering but i keep it greased and plenty air in tires it steers easy enough.Toyota tried their best to keep the truth about gas pedal problem hid even when some deaths happened would gm ford or dodge do that i think not!
