  • Is this episode on DVD? There doesn't seem to be a Season 5 set on Amazon, I'm not even sure this would be in it.

  • Haha, Bleak House :P

  • Hahahahaha-- "Strawberries in winter, fascinating!"

  • with the muppets...yay

  • @Irishqueen88 I was just watching that. I love that movie.

  • Top Gun and Aliens refs, great episode so far!

  • He mentions a difference between old and new Pints,

    Can anybody clarify that?

  • Goose sat behind maverick? what does that mean?

  • @Acenthehole - it's from the movie Top Gun. Goose and Maverick are the nicknames of the main characters.

  • I love AB!! "Goose sat behind Maverick." classic!!

  • Hey AB,

First of all love the show. I'm glad this is on YouTube because, to be honest, your show was one of the only ones I watched regularly in America.

I'm going to try this wassail this year with my own homemade English ale.

I was wondering if it's possible to make wassail with something a little...stronger. Say English Barley Wine?

  • he shouldn't be wearing that ring while working with those eggs :p xD

  • part 1 is none to be found!

  • Does Charles Dickens keep saying "Crap"? Because that's really funny.

  • where's the first one?! D:

  • @meeseinoddplaces It's GES13E15P1.flv and it's still by GoodEatsTV.

  • @meeseinoddplaces It's GES13E15P1.flv and it's still by GoodETV.

  • "But I had such..."

    "Great Expectations?"

"Indeed..I never thought the modern age would bring such.."

    "Hard Times?"

I love this show. Thanks for putting it up.

  • top gun reference?

    really?

  • Hey now, Top Gun was a great movie :D

  • is chuck charles dickens?

  • yes he is ^^

  • @pzshi Yes he is! I saw that in the first three seconds of him being onscreen :P

  • thank you! I put these on my ipod!

  • Chuck Dickens... XD

  • Haha! "The one with the muppets"

  • Only AB could incorporate Top Gun and Monty Python references into the same episode :)

  • where's part 1?

  • @Setzer Go under "More From: GoodETV"

  • what's the whole "the goose rides behind the maverick" thing? i dont get the reference.

  • It's a reference to the film Top Gun. Tom Cruise played Maverick and his copilot's handle was Goose, played by Anthony Edwards.

  • Haha. Bleak House.

  • o.0 No goose in America? It's so common here for Christmas!! *is German*

  • And yes, Goose is not as common in America.

And it should be. Such a delicious meat.

  • Turkey is easiest to get in North America so it's seen as traditional. My family is Asian, so we like duck. In Japan, they usually serve chicken.

I think it's just whatever fowl is easy enough to get and roast.

  • @Frank15982 I've seen it at the supermarket. It's too bad AB didn't show us how to cook one. Duck is still pretty good though, for the US. Usually, aside from seafood, the average American only eats chicken, turkey, pork, beef or variations thereof (like ham or veal).

  • "Whoooh! Strawberries in winter, fascinating!"

    Thank you, I snorted my soda up my nose because of that. XD;

  • I know right XD

Having Charles Dickens in there was pure genius.

  • any body else notice Dickens swiping something from the fridge around 6:55?

  • i think that was caviar lol

  • Chuck's accent is getting really good.

  • Is it me or did he say crap?!

  • @NY4Life Yes. The Ghost of Dickens says 'Crap' several times in reference to AB's books.

  • @NY4Life hardcore! (lol)

  • hhahaahah top gun

  • That's Too Convenient for a six pack to equal an old world equation of 4 gills!

  • Boo.... I guess youtube ate part 1 huh? Oh well YAY Good Eats!!!
