Trust me, having an artist you liked before gain sudden popularity due to a game, or movie, is not such a bad thing. I loved Silversun Pickups before Rock Band introduced Lazy Eye and now due to it, they are getting more and more popular. Contrary to popular belief, being more popular doesn't cause you to "sell out"....it just allows the artist to grow (and with more money to test the waters). I am now glad I have been introduced to Rilo Kiley thanks to Rock Band, its great!
