you probably went. i remember it was on private land. the cops had a check point before the show and after... my mom made me hide her drugs in my gameboy case... lmfao.. it was pretty epic dude... i remember there being a shit ton of shops about 100 yards from the stage.... then off to the right is where all the campers where.... it was an amazing time. even back then i still remember it i must have been 7-10 yrs old... i remember alot of ganja smoke and alot of men in white dresses.. lmfao

Was it on a fair grounds? (Not while the fair was going on, just the grounds?) That sounds like the Cayuga County Fairgrounds show in Summer 1993. There were lots of shops. Those men in dresses were maybe Hare Krishnas, but you would've been too young to know. I was next to you smoking a spliff. LOL. Sound familiar?

god i saw my first show before i was old enough to even know who they were.. it was a greatful dead revival long long ago somewhere in upstate new york.. and they had a stage there.... big like 3 day festival.. i was only a kid my mom and her boyfriend at the time took me..... i wanna say it was the early 90's

I've been to 46 Phish shows. My first Phish show was in 1992, before I knew who they were. I didn't really get into it until 1997, and then left to teach English in Korea, Japan, and the Philippines for 10 years. Now, I'm back in the scene!
