For a small device, I'm NOT going to skip out on the quality for the regular mino. A small device for a higher price but better video I think is going to be definitely worth it. I had to take like 5 second videos at a time at low quality with a digital camera for too long, so I'm glad something has come out that is small and simple and can record 60 minutes at good youtube quality.

That is probably the best testing place because of the darkness. It goes to show how low light affect the quality. There are so many outside shots with the MinoHD and this really represents indoor/nighttime w/ artificial light conditions. Still a haze around lighting with this video especially around the platform where the girl is walking. You can see the bumps on the safety strip @ the edge of the platform, the spit flying from the guys mouth and can read the "...STREET" sign. Pretty damn good.

haha. i think that's the whole point of testing a camcorder. to test it in harsher situations -- times when you might really need the quality when recording.
