Elizabeth denied having said that during the time that JC outshined her castmates in These Old Broads. Joan, during her days at Twentieth Century Fox in the 1950's, made films with Gregory Peck, Bette Davis, Richard Burton, Paul Newman, James Stewart, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Jayne Mansfield, etc., etc. They may not have been huge commercial successes, but that's an illustrious group of co-stars.
