The last time I visited those areas (just when Thoppigala had fallen) I spoke to a couple of Tamils and people from the SL Army. Apparently, the SL forces didn't see Tamil women as sexually appealing - they said Tamil women were not good looking (due to their hard live styles) and smelled as well (due to the nature of food) - and that they won't even dream of touching any - let alone rape them.
