Something to keep in mind about Japan is that everything is open for fashion, everything. Nothing means anything to them, It's half the reason why Visual Kei got so big, everybody thought it looked cool, and it blew up because of it.

It's sickening in a way, but it's also uniquely Japanese. When it comes to Japanese Metal, you need to dig deep past the Visual Kei(and it's subgenres) ti really find interesting metal, something that I feel that this movie should've dug into more.
