instead of using preloader to run the homebrew to run the apps just use multi mod manager's app manager to load them if preloader isnt working

Don't be stupid guys if your wii is bricked its easy all you have to do is get a NEW game like black ops BUT make sure your wii's firmware is lower then 4.3 if it is then a newer game will update your wii and BAM you are unbricked

also idiots are pretty much the ones that brick therr wii i mean come ON thats why we have PRIILOADER/PRELOADER which is an app that loads because the health screen for safety measures or BOOTmii as BOOT2 which is the same shit in a way as prii/preloader

@cenouralm i just downloaded files which you can google and get a dvd-r or rw then burn the files on the disc put the disc in then press all 4 directional buttons on a gamecube controller then it will boot it worked for me

@dialbolic First, off, your fried chip idea is impossible, the hardware would have to be built that way, so only a false update could kill it, except we can block forced updates, and we can restore with bootmii anyway, we don't use official updaters, we manually update. And this wii bricked because the owner did something wrong. I can install HBC on a 4.3 wii, which supposedly fixed homebrew. There is nothing wrong with homebrew either, it is the uses like piracy.

@justdopey365 It should work on any Wii version but if it's fully bricked it won't work, and no i don't know if it works when you don't have pre-loader installed (probably not)

and IF I brick my wii again, or if I fully brick my Wii, I will film everything I do. But that's a small chance. My friend bricked his Wii though and maybe I might use that one to test some programs... Still sorry for the people i can't help yet.

If when you turn on the wii you hold the reset button, it should put your wii in maintenance mode.
