At the end of the day it is about where the property line exists. If it is her fence she can only touch what is on her side of the actual property line - if she crosses that property line to do the trimming then she is tresspassing. Since this seems to be such a big issue for her best thing to do would be to trim your own bushes back so they don't touch or poke thru the fence. Then she has nothing to whine about.

she was breaking the law but sometimes you have to turn a blind eye she was doing you a favour my dads neighbor does exact same thing infact some times he lets him self into the garden to trim bushes my dad doesnt mind. some times my dad leaves the lawn mower out with a bear sitting on top of it to see if he gets the hint

At the end of the day it is about where the property line exists. If it is her fence she can only touch what is on her side of the actual property line - if she crosses that property line to do the trimming then she is tresspassing. Since this seems to be such a big issue for her best thing to do would be to trim your own bushes back so they don't touch or poke thru the fence. Then she has nothing to whine about.

I'm surprised by the number of people comments siding with the filmer. I'd side with the woman on this one. I don't think it's much to ask to keep the fence cleared. The filmer not only doesn't do that, but then wants to harass her when she is merely taking care of it herself. I'd be happy to have her as a neighbor, as she is actually making an effort to maintain her property.
