Propellerhead, im having trouble with rewire and reason, and ive been asking on other tutorials, but when i rewire into logic, theres a delay between the synths and automations I made with reason, and the audio i created in logic, do you know whats causing this and how i can fix it? Its really important! Thanks!
@romelloWilliams11 I'm not sure exactly but I have a theory. For sure, you should speak with our support guys if this doesn't help because they know everything clever. In Logic's preference settings there is a choice of ReWire behavior between "live mode" and "playback mode." One has a bigger latency (delay) and is meant for mixing and playback while the other has a shorter delay (latency) and is meant for recording and performing.
Hello i have an important question, I have managed to rewire reason into logic, and it's fab! But i would like to add Logic effects to the rewired instrument, but i don't get the "insert plugin" area, which disappears. Can someone help please?
and how can I hold the sound of reason without close it?? when I load a midi in a track, I can load the sound of reason in rewire.. but when I close it (reason) the sound disappear.. why?? can I save the sound in another way??
the rewire is realy flexible compare to a vst or rtas cause you can also output not just audio bu midi information of logic or nuendo and protools directly inside the sound generator of reason and record. rewire are also sweet with gigasampler from tascam.
64 bit libraries yet? if not.. keep it.. both rewire AND rex libs being 32 bit and NOT 64 bit has caused me hassle.. "thanks" props.. fix up.. some of us use 64 bit sequencers
@nononcko how much have you used reason? I've used them both about equally and if i had to pick one it would probably be reason/record due to the music i'm making
@nononcko Man its all about the instruments!!! If you download the drum sounds and instruments for Record/Reason, or just use the ones they have. They have a muchhhh bigger selection to choose from.
But if your just talking recording, then go with Logic 9, better yet Pro Tools 9
i already see whats going to happen propeller head is teaming up with apple to make the ultimate daw there will be no reason 5 there will be something better with these 2 together
I'd rather see Propellerheads make their instruments and effects as AU's and VST's for use in DAWs. I use Logic full time because you can do just a BAZILLION times more with manipulating audio than you can in Reason - however - I love Reason's synth's more than I do Logic's. That's pretty much all I use Reason for. I do a lot of Glitch and I do a lot of static audio destruction - Reason has no audio editing capabilities and Record doesn't offer much in the way of audio destruction.

Why rewire Record when you got Logic? There's no reason to do that!
Logic is light years ahead Record and Reason in every way!
Is like owing a Ferrari and want to change its engine with a Fiat from 1980!
Record needs at least 20 years to compete today's Logic.
