Not only cheaper and better but nicer looking too! I don't have a 1000 but my last three GSXR750's have had carbon Akra's fitted. Might try the 1000 next year.
@snowchink a mate of my is working by an motor exhaust dealer, and he told me you wil have a bit more horspower (around 3 or 4 HP) when you get an akrapovic exhaust (i am dutch, thats the reason why my english is'nt verry well. i hope you will understanding me.

@850mb Met een volledige Akrapovic-systeem krijg je wel meer PK. Ik heb nu ruim 170pk op het achterwiel.

It has an E-keur (TÜV) for the dB-killers, so it is legal in Holland. But this sound is without dB-killers ;-)
