MASS EFFECT Thresher Maw RAPE! ON INSANITY (ON FOOT)

Thresher Maw's are stupid easy on foot, in fact I'd say they are easier to defeat on foot than in the Mako. It doesnt even matter what difficultiy it's on, because as long as you stay at a certain range, it will never hit you, and will never burrow.

There's a trick to keeping the teammates alive too, with timed strafing/aimed firing.

Still, the game is incredible and videos like this are exactly why it is.

I hate these god damn things. I'll spend forever getting minerals and probes on a planet, and go to do a merc base or whatever, and be like "LOL :P This is too easy" And then suddenly a thresher jumps out of the ground and shouts NOPE! -INSTAKILL- Restart the entire fucking planet over again.

Yeah, I just go up on a hill (where they cant pop up) and shoot them on foot, so I can get more experience to get to Level 60.

THIS video isn't really accurate though, as normally, they can strike at you from that distance and insta-kill you. Hell, one killed me on Nordacrux from fucking 20 feet away! You just got lucky here.

I remember encountering one for the first time, well, the ground started rumbling and I could hear something screeching behind me so I INSTANTLY paused the game and I was all like, "I don't want to know what this is, I don't..." so I researched it online and took a breather after I saw what it was and started to fight it...it killed me in a few seconds.
