Are you kidding? If you're concerned about gas mileage then you shouldn't be driving a car like this in the first place. And my Dad has an 01 911 Turbo and yeah if you're on the interstate in 6th gear its sitting at about 2100 rpm at 75mph, but if you drive it hard it only gets 9mpg.

yea,i agree with all that the s3 package and everything but they don't tell us about the gas mileage.The stock m5 it has 11or 12 miles in the city with the s3 i cant imagine i love the m5 i have the m3 e46 but the gas on the m5-m6 is terrible!

Mr Dinan is a genius. ive driven the E39 Dinan M5 with the stage 3 kit and it was one of the only cars that has put fear in my heart. the sound and acceleration of that car are unbelievable. working for bmw definately has its perks!

You guys ever think of selling tickets to your event ? Nice bench / bleacher set up.. Maybe toss the cars around a small planned out road course, might not make a profit but offset the costs of fuel / tires etc..

tube-frame racecars don't share anything with the roadcar. FIA/ACO GT1 and GT2 cars require parts from the road car and will have more stock parts and/or less exotic materials by 2010. the grand-am rolex sports car series is the nascar version of sports car racing.
