difference between your vid and Barker's vid is simple. I can't bob my head and jam out to this. You are no doubt, a good drummer. But to people who aren't musically inclined, it sounds jumbled and sloppy. Basically, you are good but this lacks the rythm needed for enjoyability.

i have a couple of comments.
1- if you're going to record a drum video, you should mike your drums. if you use a camcorder, it condences the sound, making it sound jumbled.
2- your chops are great, but break it up a bit. fast is not always better. try some nice grooves. other than that, it sounds good. keep it up.
