In the 20's, as many people per capita were brewing alcohol and they are growing pot today. Once alcohol was legalized, the black market died.

Not that they are stuck in there ways!!! The thing here is it is illegal to have HEMP seeds and grow HEMP in general due to the class 1 classification of cannabis. They made that illegal. The whole war on drugs came about when they allowed lobbying to be done. Who has interests that such a plant is illegal? All of these big firms such as Exxon Mobile, Dupont, along with many more that I will not write as it will take 5-6 comments just to name names.

exactly, the government isnt going to make it legal so that it can be used in other things, which would probably be cheaper, because itll put those big companies out a couple billion, because its cheaper. its not going to change the whole economy. same thing with cigarettes. the government makes money of of them. so their legal. if pot were legal it would just mean people would smoke in the streets. theyd still by from the dealer down the street. meaning no money for the government.

i personally wouldnt buy it. i dont really know alot of people who would. the bud is either going to be super cheap and shitty or super amazing but expensive as hell. alternative uses is another story. it may work it may not. i think its took risky for any company to try unless they already specialized in things made of hemp. it would also take lots of R&D to figure out the best mixture of hemp fiber and all the other things in the final products.

The chemicals change in your liver from THC-9 to THC-11 hence why it is more of a narcotic then high. It is also better to add it to fat or sugars to ingest it. As it makes it easier to get into the blood stream.
