@LukkazOfAzeroth I think wandering eyes makes you human. I define love as "when ones happiness becomes integral to your own". Wandering emotions/intentions shows that their happiness isn't altogether very important to you. I also have the whole "monster" mentality. I can see myself ruining something incredible that I've built with someone because of it. I try really hard to fight it but it seems to always come around. But he says he loves me anyway - so I smother the feeling as much as I can. :/
@FindTheBody Doesn't make you human because not everyone's eyes wander. And I think you should give this guy a chance, because you'll only hate yourself more when he stops trying.
Eh, well, turns out he's been stringing me along for the last half a year or so and is just going back to his ex anyway. So I wasn't crazy to have such a strange mindset about it all - and now I know better than to let myself get in that situation again. Not that I'll be trying anytime soon.
@FindTheBody Well that's fun. At least you know now and can move on. And I agree, give yourself time to heal before letting someone else in. Wounds are never good for relationships.
