The use of the word "wackiest" is a demeaning editorilization. Forbes is a successful and well respected economist. Probably more so than Engberg's unnamed "expert". To disparage the flat tax (a system supported by many economists) based on a quote from some anonymous source is extreme bias.

And, the first year federal income taxes were collected, they were at a flat 3% rate, so to claim it's "untested" is flat out false.
