I don't believe this could have happened if the puppet shah was still in power. Iran would be like Egypt, Saudi Arabia or even Pakistan. You people, not just the religious ones, chose in 1979 that you wanted to choose your own destiny and break away the shackles of colonialism. Now it is time to go further, and get you freedom.
It is not very good when it comes to the freedoms and rights, but i also do not think it is as bad as other middle eastern and non european countries like Saudi Arabia, Libya and China and even America is pretty bad; but it is still not good enough and thats what needs to change. Come to think of it, israel has never sent a sattelite out on its own, its always needed help, yet Iran has done this.
Perhaps the current system has to change, but you cannot deny that Iran is a lot better technologically, Financially and in terms of education. Iran is one of only few countries to have sent sattelites out to space. No other middle easter country, besides Israel, has achieved this. Iran is alsmost completly self sufficient in weapons manufacturing and technology despite heavey UN sanctions.
Some say we shouldn't talk behind someone's back when they're dead. I don't beleive in that and would ask every proud iranian to curse khomeini(the big mother fucker). Here is a little poem to write on his grave:
To gofty vaz behtar mishavad gar man shavam rahbar,,,,,,ajab kary ajab vazi be vaze behtarat ridam.
U just can't be using polite words when talking about akhounds.
round about 2500 yrs ago, cyrus the great commanded anyone, anywhere in here great territory extended from central asia to parts of europe n africa should be able and allowed to practice their belief, freely, whatever religion they have or haven't they're free.its what after 2500 yrs westerns have just come to implement it in their countries.but these bloody bastard mullahs have come n shit thoroughly and completely on our land makin every1 to do what they say.iran's occupied by aliens not palestine
iran was never americas slave, thats completely irrelevant to what khoemini has done to the country, if iran was americas slave during the shahs regime, at least children werent going to sleep hungry at nights, christians were hung purely because of their beliefs
if you believe religion should rule a country you are a fool, i am a muslim, but i believe in democracy and the welfare and economy of a country, HOW CAN 1000 RIALS GO FROM 15 DOLLARS, TO 10 CENTS AND YOU STILL SAY THIS MAN IS GREAT?!
the fact that "1,000 rials went from 15 dollars to 10 cents" is irrelevant, because very few people, outside of the higher class, saw that money.
and illiteracy has pummeled under the aytollahs. under the shah, it got to the point where 1/5 of men could read/write and 1/12th of women could read/write
under the ayatollahs, 66% of iranian college students are women
and it is well documented that shah threatened to execute any solider who didn't kill a protester
surely equality is a good thing but that doesnt exactly mean the ayatollahs promoted them and it hardly means the country is being run properly THAT is irelevant
ive been in iran and ive seen the youth of iran hung because of different religion and to something to such a low extent of clothing
people are being killed faster under the islamic republic than the shahs regime and the only fact you have is that 66% of college students are women?!
and those statistics that youve made up for illiteracy are completely false aswell might i add, education was far better to use during the shahs regime, now they are still being educated, but not being given proper employment
shah threatened to execute any soldier who didnt kill a protester? the shah forgave those who would abduct his family members but hang those for betraying their country, its called treason, Britan have this law aswell
Thank YOU. I love the Iranian people and wish I could help. I don't know what to do but I am HERE. I am a citizen of the USA and can prove it. Good luck to you all.
Khomeini was the grand illusionist. He promised "Heaven on Earth" & hope but instead he prolonged an 8 year war for the sole purpose of fueling his ambitions of one day reaching Karbala at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives.
Khomeini was a vengeful man who destroyed any chance of Iran to become a healthy democracy. He showed no mercy towards his enemies. He eliminated anyone who posed a threat to his growing power.
Khomieni did intend not to participate in the ruling of the country but once the revolution occurred he noticed that the foreigners were interfering, and that without a leader the country would have fell into civil war.
The same issue happened with respect to freedom of speech, there were people exploiting the situation to send out their deceitful separatist messages.
What would you do? Let the country fall apart and let the Saudis, US, Russians, etc exploit the situation?
Thanks. I did not know that. I will check and add a note to the description of this video. Your input is important. Please continue to fact-check for me. Thanks again.

truth about ayatollah khomeini and all the good he did for iran
he did nothing good for iran, he ruined it, he hung people who refused to become muslim, he banned freedom, he killed any who opposed him
i hope ayatollah khomeini burns in the deepest pit of hell

Same here. Khomeini was an evil man. His replacementS are just as bad. And Ahmedenijad (a mere figurehead "leader" and spokesman) makes me ILL!
