i have a question for anyone out there. I have an LT Duramax with the 6.6 liter V8. The turbo I want to get says thats its for a LLY LBZ LMM motor. What is the difference? Isn't the engine the same, just different set ups like fully loaded interior, crew cab, short cab, ect? Any help would be appreciated. Keep on rollin the coal!

actually the LLY and LBZ are only similar in 2006. the LLY was first out in 2004 and to be honest they kinda fell on the face a little bit. but the 2006 LLY is essentially a lazyer tuned LBZ, so your still right
the duramaxs have different names for each engine. 01-04 300hp LB7, 04-06 310hp LLY, 06-07 360hp LBZ, 08-10 360hp LMM, 11-up 397hp LML. they are each basically the same motor, but changes were made to the engine between each one.
LB7's use fixed vane turbos. LLY's, LBZ's, LMM's, and LML's use variable geometry turbos. Thats where your difference comes in.
