I think it's a bit silly that they pull the mother out of the water and then the father jumps in. Can't he be hurt too?

@Liljamoon yes but the mother is a woman and the father is a man and usually the men are doing the "harder" jobs^^

@AmiraLalalala Actually I'm female too. ;) That's why I don't like that women are always portrayed as weak. Even if a man is very stong they still can't fight strong currents. It's tiresome that men are "always" portrayed as strong and capable and women as weak and in need of rescue.

Actually if you watch it, you see that the mother was bitchy and neglectful, and earned her daughters ire.

Um...I did watch it. That's why I said the daughter is a bitch. How neglectful are we supposed to think the mother is, just because in the flashback she looks like she's been out? Jeez, call CPS, the mom's wearing eyeliner.

Oh dont even try that on me, princess. She said later in the movie that she was selfish, and apologized to her daughter, too. Oh, and she'd been out all night. Oh, and you do this all the time, you only care about yourself.
