  • I would like to know the name of the opera that passes as music to 3,

Je voudrais savoir le nom de l'opéra qui passe de la musique à 3,

  • I love the fact that he used A LOT of dark-skin color models, they looked beautiful, amazing, MARVELOUS! I loved them too!

YSL, my idol for ever, R.I.P

  • In a class all by himself

  • Jerry Hall!!!!

  • This is fabulous.....the clothes.....the models......just fabulous!!!!

  • Seeing this show with all the beautiful timeless clothes makes me pine for the era when art in fashion was not tainted by commerce as much as it is today. YSL is gone, his couture house is gone, even gorgeous model Katoucha Niane is dead. It makes you appreciate all this so much more...

  • "PURE CLASSIC" of a remarkable genius.

Yves Saint Laurent knows the "secret" of Haute Couture!!!!!!!!

If Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington were on the runway, it would create a grand entrance!!

  • i am soo in love whit YSL's see through dress

  • After I watched these clips, I know why Karl hates him.

  • Karl Lagerfel hates him? This man is far much better than Karl Lagerfeld, he makes him look like an amateur!

  • Best designer ever

  • Bonjour,

est ce quelqu'un connait l'interprète de la chanson indienne du défilé rétrospectif.

    Merci d'avance

  • May I share this video with a Chic Fashion Designers Group that I currently co-own with 2 of my friends? I sure would appreciate it. Merci beaucoup

  • I know he died before this video, but they honored his memory with all these gorgeous black women. That's the way he cast his runway shows, and I love him for it.

  • Me too. I love Yves Saint Laurent for his everlasting class, elegance, sophistication and style.

  • He was very much alive for this show. Catherine & Bianca Jagger bring him out at the end of Part 4.

  • YSL can say alot more than most fashion designers. Even though I still dont here to much about him. I shop at abercrombie so what the fuck do I know. But I do have a louis vuitton wallet if that means anything......

  • what is the music after jerry hall?

  • Beautiful. Thank you so much for posting.

  • i saw many of this dresses at the museum of fine arts in montreal, my tears fell down when i saw the mondrian dress (:

  • what can i say? he's the designer, the master, who made me fall in love with fashion. i revere chanel, yamamoto, kawakubo and dior, but for sheer innovation, brilliance, diversity and artistry, i say he's the fashion genius of the 20th century. monsieur saint laurent, you will never be equalled. you are the picasso of haute couture. your gift of beauty, style and elegance will long live on.

  • I DAMN NEAR cried at the end, when they were walking back up the runway to "Nessun Dorma"!

    That's how you go out!!:)

    The vid's on it's way.

It's shame you don't watch cable.

On HBO, there's a fascinating doc about Roman Polanski's case, "Roman Planski:Wanted & desired".

  • what is the music of final clip 1

  • Would it have KILLED you to send these clips to me???LOL

  • Long live the KING!!! No one did it better than Yves Saint Laurent, the clothes, the drama, the models he selected. He was so rich in the history and culture of fashion, his presence was so missed when he stopped designing altogether, but he had created such a rich legacy that he will never be forgotten. He will most certainly be missed, but his designs will live on forever. God Bless you Mr. Yves Saint Laurent

  • I concur!!!

  • These clips (See Part two of this series as well if you have not already done so) showcase Yves Saint Laurent's designs at their most glorious. The beauty, creativity, elegance, austerity, power, seduction and rigor of line are in full evidence in this 'Best-of' retrospective fashion show. Yves Saint Laurent is truly the master... the KING... his legacy will live on in the Pantheon of Fashion forever. Long Live Saint Laurent!

  • Merci Monsieur Yves Mathieu Saint Laurent

  • Thank you.
