@KoFDee Yes, one video is proof of that. I respect a good British flipper but to say that one countries bots are by default better than the others is stupid.
Yes, but technically Megabyte wasn't using its drive wheels to move. It took too long to get itself back on its wheels.
I remember seeing Mauler on Battlebots being turned over and using its spinning body to move like a top, but in the end it didn't have time to recover from that position and was technically KO'd.
Megabyte won by a judges' decision of 25 to 20. During TSN (2003 National Championships in MN), Megabyte fought four times; 3 KOs (Tornado Mer, Sewer Snake, Shrederator) and this fight against Tekka Maki by a decision. MB defeated Shrederator in the final fight and was the 2003 Heavyweight National Champion.
Not only is Megabyte the most powerful full body spinner known to mankind, but one of the most durable bots to ever compete.

Holy crap. Spinning like a top was cool enough, but to have enough centrifuge to stand on edge like that is just insane.

By the way, surely Megabyte was technically KO'd? It spent more than 30 seconds on his back before finally landing on its feet.
razer259 3 years ago
Actually, megabyte was moving when flipped (he was moving like a top), so he wasn't really KO'd. I believe he won this one.

why? the other robot was knocked cold out, megabyte still had all its functions working just was on its back.

What's tekka maki's weapon anyway?
Alchrat 4 years ago
Most likely that bumper in the front.
My guess is that it was used for pushing and shoving around the box.
AnimeAdmirer22 4 years ago
It's usually a drum. He used it against Shrederator and won.
