Bhutan is a beautiful country and bhutanese are peace loving people by nature. Bhtanese ppl won't tolerate any activities which will disrupt the harmony of the country and its ppl. it was that way and it will remain that way always even with the influx of modernization,because after no amount of modernization can change the bhutanese in your heart. We should not forget that if we keep on hurting and harming the feeling of Souther Bhutanese (Lhotshampas ) who are the bonafide citizen of this beautiful Himalayas, the real meaning of gross national happiness would be useless.

These days if we type Bhutanese in Google search, the cry and the sentiments of our fellow Bhutanese ( those who are living the life of refugee) floats all over.

Wouldn't these evidences put dark spot while we are claiming about gross national happiness?

I am not trying to discourage the hope of my country to be the nation of happiness, but I also do not want to be bias to the people of this nation. In fact, we should not hide the cruelty and brutality of our King and the government during 1980s and 1090s towards southern Bhutanese.

How can we say those people are terrorist if they have been accepted by the US government as bonafide citizen of Bhutan. I came to know that those Bhutanese refugee are given Green Card identified as Bhutanese.

I think Bhutan is the mark of 21st century, when we do not want to follow the options of society we have tried until today, but a mix of everything good searching for a happy society thru a connection among everyone.

If Bhutan had those refugees they would faced the fate of Sikkim. Straight and simple! Unfortunately for Sikkim the refugees not only made the country unhappy but also sold it to someone else.
