Generally yes, most apartments I've seen say no pets. Hotels I've never actually seen a no pet sign, but I haven't ever seen any pets either so I have a feeling it wouldn't be allowed. You could always ask of course! Just please don't stay in a hotel before me, I'm allergic to cats! :)
We used to have a few on the NHK show I was on, but I'd never any idea who they were, it was only later that my friends would say "you should have got their autograph!" Met Chiyotaikai once, he was cool.
Ahh Japan! the subway systems were so warm! unlike here in Britain! if you waited at the subway platform you would suddenly get a huge warm breeze of air hit your face every-time a train arrived!
Dude! That's alot of people! My friend and I want to go to Japan after we finish university. We'll have to get on the train with lot's of people like this just for the heck of it.
Hit Kasumigaseki station where all the government offices are at 8:30 AM....
Actually my laptop is a specially strengthened panasonic Y5, it can withstand 100kg. Why 100kg? According to Panasonic it's the amount of lateral force it would experience if you took it on the morning subway!
You get to know people real quick when you are packed on these trains. I have been through this station several times heading towards Omiya.

I have fond memories of lining up the Chuo after a night on the town. Used to drink at The Dubliners.
Miss Tokyo.

Wow! For so many people being there, it looks well organized. The subway in L.A. is a mess.

Woah....
Remind me not to use the train station in Shinjuku. Lol.
I wonder what it would be like if a celebrity had to use that train? Poor guy... or girl... they'd be mobbed- more than regularly.
xRosesandThorns 2 years ago
They can't! Even when you very rarely see a celebrity in the street they get mobbed by huge groups of fans!

Have you ever met any famous Japanese celebrities, by any chance?

If you did board that train, was it unbearable?

It's not exactly pleasant!

My god.
In NY at 1 AM the train station is pretty much empty!
I have never ever seen that many people for a train, maybe the ferry but not the train!
I would be petrified to get home with that many people lol
AjikanPanda 2 years ago
I cant wait to go there some day.
