  • You get to know people real quick when you are packed on these trains. I have been through this station several times heading towards Omiya.

  • LOL its funny how ur speaking really loud in English and none of the ppl are looking at u as if your crazy

  • were exacly is this place

  • lol .. and to think that in less than 6 weeks i will be standing in that same line almost everyday xD

  • I have fond memories of lining up the Chuo after a night on the town. Used to drink at The Dubliners.

    Miss Tokyo.

  • =O...dang

  • My Japanese teacher told me that there are actually guys that are hired to pack the passengers in!! That's really incredible.

  • I'm living Nagoya now.

I'm eaten by Shinjuku train monster .

     I'm safe !

  • which line is that? 山の手?I hated the cramped trains!! but I loved how they waited in line.

  • Wow! For so many people being there, it looks well organized. The subway in L.A. is a mess.

  • Is it difficult to have a pet while looking for a apartment/hotel? Neko desu.

  • Generally yes, most apartments I've seen say no pets. Hotels I've never actually seen a no pet sign, but I haven't ever seen any pets either so I have a feeling it wouldn't be allowed. You could always ask of course! Just please don't stay in a hotel before me, I'm allergic to cats! :)

  • ^_^ Ok. I love your vids btw.

  • I'll be going to Tokyo in a couple of months when it gets warm out there. I hope I don't crushed into one of those.

  • omg there are so many people. -_-"

  • lol try to get in the train hahahah you wil never get out!

  • Woah....

Remind me not to use the train station in Shinjuku. Lol.

I wonder what it would be like if a celebrity had to use that train? Poor guy... or girl... they'd be mobbed- more than regularly.

  • They can't! Even when you very rarely see a celebrity in the street they get mobbed by huge groups of fans!

  • Have you ever met any famous Japanese celebrities, by any chance?

  • We used to have a few on the NHK show I was on, but I'd never any idea who they were, it was only later that my friends would say "you should have got their autograph!" Met Chiyotaikai once, he was cool.

  • Ahh Japan! the subway systems were so warm! unlike here in Britain! if you waited at the subway platform you would suddenly get a huge warm breeze of air hit your face every-time a train arrived!

  • If you did board that train, was it unbearable?

  • It's not exactly pleasant!

  • My god.

In NY at 1 AM the train station is pretty much empty!

I have never ever seen that many people for a train, maybe the ferry but not the train!

I would be petrified to get home with that many people lol

  • I cant wait to go there some day.

  • Dude! That's alot of people! My friend and I want to go to Japan after we finish university. We'll have to get on the train with lot's of people like this just for the heck of it.

  • the people in the trainstation looks kinda annoyed...

  • I was wondering, scince you walk around speaking to your camra and filming everywhere. Does anybody ever ask you what your doing or anything else?

thanks for all the vids btw ^_^

  • Everyone tries to jump in front of the camera! It's more embarrassing doing it with a full TV crew though!

  • Lol.. ya.. and they actually try and make room for new arrivals even though they are packed..

    LOL.. XD

  • 1AM is a bit early to stop drinking :)

  • Hit Kasumigaseki station where all the government offices are at 8:30 AM....

Actually my laptop is a specially strengthened panasonic Y5, it can withstand 100kg. Why 100kg? According to Panasonic it's the amount of lateral force it would experience if you took it on the morning subway!

  • thats awesome you say thats at 1AM? in the UK you would be lucky to find 1/10th of that many people O_o

  • haha you didn't film them getting in?

  • Yeah I should have done but I'd have got crushed into the train, which I didn't want to do as I was showing mates round Shinjuku!

  • Nice footage there. Thanks for sharing.
