@ThreeBeeps but this game can recruit allies without real friends.and monster hunter can't recruit allies but cats. and the cats are too dumb because it only attacks using the same weapon.and the bomb is not quite effective....

@ThreeBeeps Yes, and Final Fantasy is just a fucking Dragon Quest clone and the Call of Duty series are all copied form GoldenEye. That's how games are made, and they will develop in different paths. Not one game is entirely unique.

@TheCountPao thats not true man, minecraft is pretty unique, obviously original IPs are unique, Quel Solaar is unique, Stalker, there are plenty of unique games, its just in this current market, where so few small game creation groups exists(small groups are usually the ones who innovate, in anything), it is very difficult to stay afloat amongst the giant companies and their expensive/expansive marketing.

@samuraivaj I have tried this game for like a week now, but there is more to it than weapons. I agree. there are only blades and firearms. They are then further split into groups namely - Short Sword, Long Sword, Greatsword. for blades

and - Sniper, rifle(idk its name), cannon. For firearms.

Then they are split into Raw attack power : Elemental basis. Elemental have higher elemental damage than Raw / Raw damage-based weapons tend to have little or no elemental stats in them And some have both.

It looks like a modern Monster Hunter with lots of moves and abilities. Though, I have to say something about the weapons. Is that the only weapon you use throughout the game? I like it if there's a variety of weapons to choose from.

In the Demo there are Three different types of melee weapons with different attack patterns. and there is three different type of guns and shields to but they look the same to me :P

I downloaded the Free Trial version of this game. ...I liked it.

Sure the battle is similar to Monster Hunter, but that's about the only similarity. The rest is only similar to some other games. Even so it moved me to buy the real product, because the story, settings, and the characters seemed intriguing.

YES, IT IS ESTABLISHED THE GAME IS SIMILAR TO MONSTER HUNTER, PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. Does that mean every RPG is like Final Fantasy? No. Similar gameplay engines. Honestly, this game looks more exciting and fun than Monster Hunter, which is ridiculously boring. I don't play games to wait 4 hours to kill some giant dinosaur and consecutively get mauled.

Inevitable to stop talking about MH if you have experience about both games.

the similarities just wants to make everyone compare them,the reason is because this type of gameplay is completely RARE to the point that only game we know like this is MH and then this one,(there is Phantasy Star but its not as close as God Eater)so its inevitable.

theres plenty of RPG that has similar gameplay engine like Final Fantasy so no big deal with that,really.
