They "buy" your information from a " Lists Broker". A company that buys information from any where possible. Credit card companies, banks, churches, bookstores, car dealers, conventions, hotels, motels, restaurants, even the library. Any store, company, or even that you are into, which requires you to write down some information about you self.. Are sold to these List Brokers.. So in reality.. There is no way of escaping it
757-990-8896 they call everyday and ask for my address and my name........ Today some old crack whore voice sounding cigarette tea drinking slut Bi+ch called and got pissed of when I told her to put my number on the do not call list. I'm not sure but when she got loud with me ......I swear I heard the crack whores front tooth fall out of her mouth hit the phone and landed in her empty coffee mug....
this isnt an auto warranty telemarketer but ive seen reports of hundreds of people recieving calls atleast once a day and i do too so i recommend to block it
yeah i have a car but it is under my parents name and so that means that my they cant have my number, and i also bought my car from a person not a dealer.... so dealers are not selling your numbers
I got one of these calls and started off by saying "my wife's been nagging me to get the warranty extended on the nissan so I'm glad that you called me, what do I need to do?" And then she said "Well first I need to get your vehicle information and then..." I interrupt her and say "But, but you said that if was expiring, you didn't know that at all, you're a liar! You're A Liar! A LIAR! A LIIIAAAR!"
And then at about the 6th LIAR! I'm disconnected. Didn't get a call since.
FINALLY THERS A STOP!! Monday May 11th 2009 There getting STOPED!! BBB has steped up. over 300,000+ complaint. BBB is now sueing them. THEy also got sued by Verizon Wirelss Because they use "SPOOF" and called over 4 million Verizon Cousomer!
nice video but they don't get your information from dealers. Most often telemarketers especially these auto-warranty people get numbers from either a public directory OR they have some sort of a random number generator.
Lets face the facts, if a dealer did sell your information to them they would know everything about your car (and you for that matter) and WOULDN'T have to ask. When I got my truck used I NEVER gave the dealer my cell phone number...and yet I get calls.
if it was a scam dont u think they would have put that old ass car under warranty to get ur money???

lol. They do not want old customers. This is the COMPLETE opposite of how a dealership would work.
