  • А по русски можно?

  • This video has just been featured on Workout Matrix! Keep up the good work - we are all about it.

  • then this kick is not effective to midget

  • is it just me or is this kick just plain fun to do?

  • @mudkipzuzu They are all fun to do. Even better to see when you need to use it,

  • @NintendoDrunkie yep, true

  • @mudkipzuzu lol it is i love it :P i can still use some work on it.

  • @DOOKITdookit He is hitting the outer side edge of the foot, a kick is equal to what would be a single roundhouse kick that adds a twist to jump, that kick is more effective or harmful if struck with the heel, but should be positioned so different hip hop at the time and the impact, use google translator to respond to you hope you understand, greetings!

  • I think you mean jump spinning reverse crescent kick. I love doing those kicks. So powerful.

  • This is a ... wonderfull kick, powerfull and looks good if done right.

    Helicopter kick, hehe.

  • tatsumaki senpukya?

  • Thanks for this video dude, I'm just getting into martial arts tricking and even though the jujimufu tutorials are great, I like getting an outsider's view. Especially from someone who trains the move for actual martial arts use.

  • Thanks! I really an gratefull that you take the time to do these tutorials... they have been very helpfull! Thanks! Keep up the Good work!

    God Bless!!

  • Well... you can use this kick against an opponent who is the same height as you too. Its not all about height and distance is also a major factor because you need to be close enough for your heel to reach the opponents face. But the biggest factor is the height of your jump and your quickness in getting there.

  • da hora de masis

    lol

  • this is my favorite kick but I'm not very good at it yet (but I'm only a blue belt), I end up missing my target O.o my instructor says that I lift my leg too soon. anyways thanks, this is helpful :)

  • damn u're good! what kicks O.O im train for only 1 year and have only blue stripe (also WTF TKD). i hope that someday i will be atleast half as good as you are

  • Man your kicks are flawless. I've never been able to do a good spinning jump kick.

  • That is Van Damm's kick !!!

  • Very nice. I would like to request that u do a speed kicking tutorial.

  • @iso778766 hes breathing

  • Vaaaannn DDaaaammmmm

  • TOOTPHICK

  • @MattTheManc1 in taekwondo (my old dojo), even a freshman could do this.. the great factor is only the trainer and the trainee..

  • if you are really strong let me see your real fights....

  • I was taught ur upper body should twist the opposite side ur kicking to give it more thrust... That true??

Btw u got amazing jumping skills :L

Just wanted to ask what kind of training u went through to increase ur jumping power :)) sry if I'm bothering u... :/

  • THANKS A LOT. REALLY AWESOME.

  • Awesome stuff

  • Do you have a bald spot?

  • can you gain muscle mass in ur upper body and still be able to do these kicks?

  • @LimeSlimez Short answer for this one. Yes

  • @MrKebabi Thats awesome.

  • @LimeSlimez yeah you can it will be alot harder to do tho

  • dude im so baked right now and this is the coolest thing ever

  • im orange belt. it rocks

  • taekwondo rocks i am a yellow belt

  • @MattTheManc1 he hase invisible belt.. XD

  • LOL a non-Korean who can do some kick ass Taekwando. Very nice.

  • fu**ing great!!!

  • NICE JUMP ;P

  • LOL u are like SHHHH wen ur doing a rlly powerfull attack like ''hits and the oppponent is sayiing AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH and u SHHHHHHH

  • cool man but i know all of ur moves i have videos too but ur videos are better lol but if u want to u can check my Martial Arts videos im 16 and i know a lot check my newest videos i uploaded 3 martial arts videos today check those thanks and excelent tutorial

  • @MattTheManc1 Belt is to keep your pants up...

  • go to tokken, KOF or street-fighter...you gonna pwn !

  • =O yo ur a beast...plain and simple...how do u condition urself...cuz im a boxer, kickboxer, muay thai, bjj fighter, but I like boxing training the most but I watch tae kwon do videos cuz I can do heel kicks and spinning cresent kicks I just wana jump higher...wat do u do do jump so high and land on ur kicking foot?

  • @NjAyBoXCuTzZ Try Plyometrics with a little weights but keep in mind that jumping height depends on the relation between jumping power and your weight. 1 good exercise is jumping squats with a short barbell with not more than 20kilos on, put 2 steps on your sides, do the squat and jump on to the steps, squatting again when you land and jump back to the centre, keep doing it as long as your fast, once you start to slow down take 2 min rest and repeat at least 2 more times, add more reps weekly.

  • Is this that kick that van dam is popular for using in all of his movies?

  • @1tmoch No, its not. Van Damme's kick hits with the heel/ball of foot and as he jumps he is in sort of a split.

He calls it a helicopter kick.

  • @1tmoch This is actually Tommy Oliver (Green Ranger)'s kick

  • What is the difference between spinning crescent kick, turning long kick and hook kick???? TKD Yellow belt, I'm beginner

  • @ChrisWindyBoy Spinning crescent is this kick, without the jump. A hook kick is also falled dwi dolyo chagi - a reverse roundhouse kick. The foot/leg/hip position is essentially the same as a roundhouse, but moving the opposite direction, and the contact point is either the heel or the ball ofthe foot.

  • @OffRoadRN Thanks man...

  • Haha, now my other comment i left on your other vid sounds stupid! Your really good at this kick! Landed perfectly as well ;-)

  • it seems to my like when jean claude van damme threw this kick he used his great range of motion to actually make sortoff a distance kick

  • thats a green ranger kick! lol

  • I know right thats so beast

  • @orabolix green ranger

  • @TheDAYGOALLSTAR indeed!

  • @TheDAYGOALLSTAR

Exactly! :-D And Kwon does it with splendid technique. Very helpful!

  • @TheDAYGOALLSTAR that is a Churck Norris kick!

  • @TheDAYGOALLSTAR lol because the guy who played him is a 7th dan black belt in karate

  • watch my karate instructor do a small demonstration of his creative kata in vegas...

    look up.. Justus in Vegas

    he's the first vid

  • @MattTheManc1 i think he's first dergree black belt. watch kwonkicker answers faqs. i bit of comedy but some are real questions like yours

  • looks a lot like King of Fighters character Rugal Bernstein's "Genocide Cutter" kick. :D

  • thanks dude

  • wow thats a very cool kick

  • Another great video, love the fact that you show the tucked and un-tucked versions. I'd just like to throw a comment out there to people trying the tucked version, you will probably fall a few times especially if your jump isn't very high. That might subconsciously impact yourself and make it very hard to keep tucking the leg. Practice practice practice, it's a great kick against taller opponents like kwonkicker said.

again another great video, kudos man

  • Nice vid mate, keep up the good work, i have a question, how much it cost a BOB?

  • @fightlover187 Yes I know. :D

Actually what really disappoints me is that in today schools they don't really teach you how to fight. (Well from what I seen, in the schools that I seen) Other than that what really pisses me off, are people who consider their style the freaking perfection and consider all other styles inferior, like they have nothing to learn from them.

  • @Jozsef86330 ttrue tha, i train at home to keep the progress going, and some of the kicks i do is not from shotokan but from another style, and our stretches and flexibility are pretty good but it has nothing on kwonkicker's stretchies or any tkd school, i do other different stretches at home including his stretches to increase my kicking height, some of my class mates are blue & green belts and there kicks look off- balance and the technique does not look right, they're pretty stiff blue belts

  • @fightlover187 Like Bruce Lee said; the belt only holds your pants up. =)

And from what other styles are the kicks from?

  • @Jozsef86330 lmao, he sho did, and the kicks of styles im trying to do is mainly tae kwon do, kyokushin and hapkido, even ninjitsu, any style that involves kicking and jump kicking will help me alot

  • do a Jump Spinning Hook next, like the one Van Damme always does

  • nice tutorial hopefully u gonna get some tutorials on elbows and knees :D

  • Kwonkicker: is it difficult to hit your target because of spinning and elevating?

  • "significantly taller"...lol your bob is set at like 7 feet tall. nice ups

  • wow! ur kick is really clean!

  • lots of wildlife out there lol

  • this kick is fun i only can do it on my left leg

  • Wow, only three intelligent comments so far...

  • @RazorGuardian I can only see one. : S

  • it looks good when you do it

  • 6th comment and 7th to like

  • How much stretching, flexibility and practicing will it take to perform this kick?

  • Comment removed

  • @fightlover187 Not so much flexibility, and training can differ from person to person. lol "How much ... practicing", The more you practice the better you area.

  • @Jozsef86330 oh okay it's just the matter of practicing i everyday or how many days a week?

  • @fightlover187 Well actually I did asked Kwonkicker about how much training he does.

Usually in a a style (Karate, Aikido from where I am) there are trainings 3 times a week, each training of 1-2 hours duration.

You can practice as much as you're free time and laziness lets you. lol

Theres a tutorial on his, Kwonkicker's channel about flexibility training.

  • @Jozsef86330 3 times a week eh, that's all i need lol but the streching i saw that video i might do that kind of stretching flexibility about 5 times a week, as for the jumping spinning crescent kick im gonna try to do that about 3 or 4 times a week

  • 5th comment and 5th to like this, hopefully no one disikes this

  • 4th comment 2nd to like

  • 3rd in comment but 1st to like
