I live in a warm city, and see so much snow gave me chills, good job I hope someday to know Chicago, a greeting from Girardot Colombia. very good video.
#SNOMG It was great to experience the Chicago Blizzard in 2011 in such a grassroots way Steven! After living in the mountains of Colorado for 20 years, I understand what a blizzard like this means ... the good and the bad! But the reason I liked this video was because I learned alot about Chicago and its people! Very cool...
@gutzywoman Yes, that's exactly what I'm going for. THANK YOU! The whole idea behind this ONGOING project is to show the world the people that live here, a little local flavor. Glad you caught on to that... A blog is coming on this subject, and a G+ page, too...
I you are already on Google Plus, just enter into the search box - +life the chicago way, and you will see the Google Plus page that you can click on and circle...
If you're not on Google Plus. WHAT'RE YA WAITING FOR??!!!
#SNOMG - I don't know what was funnier, when they guy making snow angels has 20 Asian tourists taking pictures, or when the old chick asked if you could cuss....
Heck I forget the rest, all I know is you made me jealous of when I lived in Ohio and the blizzards kept everyone off the streets but us. Nice Job Chicago, a blizzard well done!
@IamChrisLang Ha! Yeah, Chicago has their characters around here, for sure. As much as winter is not loved, when there's a monumental event going on, people step up and make their presence known. Heck, don't even need a monumental event. It's a great town to live in just to meet people... :+)
Excellent editing work Steven! What were those # tags? Maybe tomorrow I can make a video response if time permits. The music in this video and the information about your home town was very informative.
@IamChrisLang Thanks, Chris. I though this seemed very Twitter-esque (new word). I am wondering if you should change your name to BuddhaChris...so then it would be closer to another similar sounding name. Well that is my early morning humor, and I will probably never explain it.
@rocquesbiz #SNOMG and #LTCW.... I have to admit, I am not a true Twitter expert. I thought using both would allow us to separate from just the many #SNOMG hashtags that are starting to appear now that snow has fallen in the U.S. but I'm not really sure. If you wanted to use just one, use #SNOMG. Would love that video response, Rocque!
Anyone else out there, too... We'd like to think this is JUST THE BEGINNING and not the finished product of a movie. Social Media is here to stay...
This was awesome Steve. And worth the wait. I will show Molly it tomorrow morning. I hope that is the last time I see snow like that, I am moving to L.A and will always have memories of Chicago. Thank you for including Molly.
@BuddhaCharlie thank you for those kind words Buddha Charlie... :+) Molly's such a cutie. She deserves little spotlight. We're losing another talent to L.A.,but that's alright! Keep us up to date on your life out west...
Great movie Steve. Looks Like real humdinger of a blizzard in chicago 2011. I hate snow but that almost made we want to go make a snowman LOL. well worth the effort.
@termspec Hey, coming from Miami, snow's not my thing, either. But experience the Snowpocalypse of 2011 was amazing! Cars stranded along our main road by the lake here, Lakeshore Drive, people skiing on the streeets... It was quite an experience!
