look guys, ash didn't kill anyone, Dawn was the murderer and took advantage of ash being depressive to make him think he was guilty. Look at 2:02 it's not satoshi/ash's shadow!! it's dawn's. also at 2:25 u can see that ash wasn't stained with blood, he was just having hallucinations.

After Ash kills Misty he truley relizes what he has done and looses any mental stability he had left and starts running and screaming with his friends blood all over him. Once he sees his relfection he can no longer take it and uses the very blade used against his friends and kills him self. Years later Dawn visits Pika's grave with their group photo. Looks to the sky knowing they're all with Pika and that they all found peace together, espeacially Ash......

Ash leaves Brock to moern Gary's death instead of killing him then and there.

After figuring out Ash also killed May Brock finds Misty hoping to protect her.

And when Ash finally comes for them he get's into a big fight with Brock. Brock is then killed. Before Ash can kill Misty she says something along the lines "I'll always love you" knowing she won't make it and let's Ash kill her.

Dawn was far far away. While the rest gang is in Kanto. something devistating happans to Pika and Pika ends up dieing. Ash slowly goes into a depression. Misty and May try to help but to no avail Gary breaks down seeing his friend/rival the way he is. Brock just doesn't know what to do. Somehow in his troubled state Ash believes it's his friends fault for Pika's death. He takes May and Gary out easily. Brock tries to show him the light but failed.
