this singer sounds too average.There were lots of voices like his at the time.He didn't stand out in the crowd,but he had lots of energy.Good for gigs,but not superstar .
@mesastorm If you "saw this line-up an awful lot" then you only saw them as a cover band in bars. This album came out in December of '71 and Lutrell left in early '72.
@jdgehring1 Sorry if I come across as snooty,but his name is Terry Lutrell. And, yes, while I like Kevin's voice (not as much in recent years), they still could've dominated the charts with Terry.
Their 1st album is their best album!

I seen the band with Terry and they kicked it up.Even had a few drinks with them.

Classic!!! I still play this on my LP...can't find it on cd. This 1st album was their best.
