I never understood the reason why Dan and Roseanne were so hellbent on keeping their kids in a rundown city. They struggle the entire series with money , their house , their kids etc etc and it seems like all they want to do is just set their kids up for the same hardships.
@empireemp24 .. i think a big part of it is..landford is all they know..their whole support system is there..neither one of them is educated and work any jobs available..going outside the town might be an even bigger gamble. this way they do get the jobs thru their friends and family..also..it seems a safe environment to raise kids.they dont seem to have to worry about violence that plagues most places.

i think roseanne is being extremely selfish here. darlene should go to college. how can roseanne be so selfish? if i was darlene i would say "why cant u understand that this is the right thing for me? why dont u just admit that you noly want whats best for you and not for your kids. you're the most selfish, evil, non-caring mother on the planet and if you want to sick the cops on me then go ahead! just dont expect me to ever speak to you again!"
why did they have to applaud for martin mull? why do people like him? he's such am asshole who's clearly hungry for attention since he seems to be everywhere!
What else to say? Another great episode. A very special distinction for Jackie. This king of episode suits her very well. And of course, thanks for the upload.
