  • where did u get the guns?

  • Is this selfmade or a Kino trailer O.o ?!?! Pelase tell me

  • Big ups mate. Keep at it. I'm likin these better than freddie's vids

  • @blackeagles12345 Thanks mate, that means a lot. Practical effects and variation in subject matter are always important, something Freddie just seems to lack. Don't get me wrong his vids are quite good, just starting to get a bit stale these past months. Cheers for the support though buddy, would like to be as big on Youtube as him one of these days.

  • @psychovisioncreation Keep at it and you will be!

  • @blackeagles12345 ;) Thanks for the support

  • Sooo what editing program do you guys use?? Just one, or multiple? Oh, and how did you do the color correction?:o

  • how did you do the gun?

  • Wow... you guys have GREAT talent. I almost cried :/ That acting was SOOOO good! Thanks for bringing this to Youtube. I see yal going really far in life!

  • @MoreFlares Thanks a bunch mate, means a lot to have support from you and people watching our video's. Glad you enjoyed it, cheers. Will have some more stuff up soon, please check back. :)

  • Those gun shot sounds are perfect, very realistic. Great vid!

  • do u hve the full movie?

  • awesome

  • awesome

  • awesome

  • awesome

  • no offense but you need to buy a camera stand so you can keep the shot steady and also a better zoom

  • @jthorpy09 ...Actually, me and a lot of real film-makers believe the camera shaking the way it does makes the film for gritty and realistic in a way, for a movie like this camera shaking is extremely important in making the movie enjoyable.

Movies like "TransFormers" are the types of movies where you want SteadyCameras.

  • @HMGen14

yeh i suppose so but there were some bits where it could have beengood to be steady :)

    thx though

i just watched it again and i see what you meen

but its still good to have a camera stand :) just saying

  • @jthorpy09 Oh yeah, I 100% agree. Like scenes where they are talking and slower scenes, a steady camera wouldn't have hurt to use.

  • @HMGen14

    yes

    thx again

  • @jthorpy09 We do have a tripod for our camera but when we went out to film this we forgot to take it with us :/ so we had to film the whole thing handheld. Some bits are quite excessively shaky, but we like it :)

  • @psychovisioncreation

oh right ok and yeh some bits are very shaky

also ive been wanting to ask how many people are in your team

  • @jthorpy09 Well there are only the two of us, me and my brother. Then we just have friends act in our films, and sometime get in front of the camera ourselves when we don't have enough people to act. When it comes to filming, special effects, editing, writing and everything else behind the scenes, it's only the two of us. I think we manage quite well :) Thanks for watching.

  • @psychovisioncreation

wow i thought there was about 8 of you cos ive counted the different people in all of your films and theres alot and i think the special effects are great :) well done, also how old are you (teen, young adult, adult), also do you use reals guns but dont have anything in them and you just put special effects??? and can you make some more films cos i love them. :) thx

  • @jthorpy09 Haha, yep just the two of us. We try and get as many of our friends to star in our films so we have variety in actors between each film. We'll I'm 22 and my brother Mike is 21, so I think we'd just class as young adults :)

We just use BBguns or in the case of "A Vicious Circle" a blank firing pistol we rented, then the sound and muzzle flashes are all added in editing. You're in luck, we're about to start shooting our new film "Glasjaw" in January, keep an eye out :) Thank you

  • @psychovisioncreation

    YAY thx

im 13 and i wont to do what you do cos i think its awsome and ive got quite a few bb guns, also ive watched "a viciouse circle" and i think the storyline is awsome but why didnt you put it all together??? also i have about 5 friends who would do it with me and a camera man but i was wondering how do you get really good effects like blood and shots, and how long does it take you to make, edit, film, plan a film like "brotherhood" and "in the footsteps"

  • Another brilliant film by you guys, great work. I think an improvement on Brotherhood from the video quality and acting point of view, but would also like to see more scenes like this in the future,

Great job and keep on shoostin'!

  • @TheFlourish13 Haha, yeah we like to have those gunshots crack! Please, if you haven't already, go check out A Vicious Circle (all 6 parts :)) and then let us know if Brotherhood is still your favourite :) Cheers buddy.

  • Another awesome video gentlemen. However, I don't think the music fits in the beginning. personally I think it would have worked better with no music. The running water in the back serves as good background sound/noise/whateveryouwanttocallit. I'm not saying there is no music that would fit, but that specifically seemed out of place. It fit perfectly with Brotherhood though. Outstanding job.

  • I used this soundtrack on my movie, which i believe I sent to you to view, but you never responded.

  • what camera are you using?

  • i like the socks

  • INCEPTION!!!

  • @narutofan9tf Indeed haha awsome soundtrack!

  • Nice video. It really had a certain suspense to it. One more thing Were do you get you sound effects from eg. Gun shot sounds:0

  • @Videofool12 If you want gun shot sounds, then there is a site that is all about finding sounds, go to find sounds . com (remove the spaces) and just search for whatever type of sound you want

  • inceptiion music ftw

  • Pretty good, what camera are you guys using these days?

  • Nice approach but there are a few issues; You didn't establish the scene and location but the main issue is the pacing was too slow, the whole editing needs to be cut a lot quicker. The best advice I can give when it comes to editing a 'chase scene' is to watch 'Stanley Kurbrick's: The Shining', at the end of the film Jack Nicholson's character chases his family through a maze and the pacing is superb, generally speaking the problem with your short was the lack of suspense. Nice attempt! :D

  • @TheWestInternational They come with Andrew Kramers Action Essentials 2.0 package. It's worth the money, there are some great elements on there such as the muzzle flashes we used and dirt hits. Thanks for the comments matey ;)

  • @psychovisioncreation lol, yeah! I think I have seen them acual flare like 5000 times!

  • @TheWestInternational Seriously the best soundtrack I think! next to the first Transformers OST :)

  • Another great creation. Do you use squibs still, beause if I was you I would try out after effects. It's easier and cheaper in the long run.

  • @magz1995 Yeah we do still use them, the shot at the end was a dust squib we created but we enhanced the colour on after effects. Thanks for the comment pal :)

  • @magz1995 defiantly cheaper and easier but to be honest the digital blood dust does not work as good as a real blood. If you combine a real squib with the digital it can look decent, but you need the actual blood to go over the shirt or fly on the ground, I just think that looks better than the whole freddie wong dust blood. psychovision always does a great job with the squibs and the digital looked good, but defiantly stick with the squibs always looks better visually and sells the effect more

  • @MoviemakerDCP I agree, I've always enjoyed the creations that PV produce.

  • amazing...

  • Only 44 views? :S

  • You stole the music from Inception. Not bad, though.

  • epic.
