The reason they wrote the whole diabolical Xindi story arc into Enterprise, and the reason they destroyed Vulcan in the irritating new timeline they've created was because they thought they'd had the greatest fan reaction from previous episodes or movies where they'd threatened Earth directly. You have to watch fan-based films like this with an appreciation for the limited capabilities amateurs have to work with LIMITED BUDGETS. I'm sure they spent thousands of dollars on the sets and wardrobes, so it's a little unfair to judge the quality as if it were made by Paramount Studios. It's more fair to judge the film for the story and characters they create. That said, sometimes the cheese is the best part of watching amateur films... it can be hilarious stuff.

Yes, the new alien species' spaceships look like the Minbari Federation's Shar'lin cruiser and the wormhole looks like a B5 exiting jump point but the these mistakes can be forgiven.

Just the idea of a Federation starship stranded in a neighbouring galaxy brings back memories of Voyager stranded in the Delta Quadrant. And a crew coming together for the one most important goal...to come back home.

The director seemed to be making a point (political or overwise) That's just my personal opinion. The CGI was outstanding. Some of the acting was a wooden as your garden variety "picnic-table". This is very good, the acting is surprisingly fantastic . Ive just watched Star Trek Exeter and Star Trek Phase II episodes and while they both have excellent resources ( mostly in set construction ) they dont have actors (with a couple of exceptions). With a combined effort of all three productions it would likely make for a superior web movie series.
I think the space battles are VERY nicely done, but it seems they sunk all their time into that, and not into any of the props. I hope future episodes of this will remedy that.

This is fantastic, I think that for such a low budget product Areakt productions have done a fantastic job and the stories are quite interesting. I would like to see other people produce a series of this magnatude and quality in under three months. I think for actors who dont have any formal training they are doing a pretty damned good job. I have seen some hollywood actors that are worse.
Render your graphics in a better way. The bridge effects look very superficial. It is the same with the Odyssey. It's unusually smooth for a star ship with many components.
The acting sucks. Just plain sucks. It sounds that either: A. These people are reading off of cards, or B. They're constipated.
The theme music doesn't fit the Star Trek motif of strong instruments.
These are fans, working on, last time I checked, a budget of zero dollars. I am not exaggerating when I say it is absolutely amazing--in the classical sense of being frozen in shck--that Areakt Productions is able to produce material of this level in under three months. Sets HAVE to be greenscreened, the theme HAS to use virtual instruments, the acting HAS to be volunteer.
You may have intended friendly advice, but it just comes across as ignorant of how hard they're already working at this.

Do you mean to imply that the notion of a gay man commanding a ship is laughable? Do you honestly think there are no gay captains in real life navies at this very moment?
I also fail to understand how the depiction of a gay person can make a show less family-oriented than the depiction of a heterosexual person.

There Romulans, there related to Vulcans but there different from Vulcans, centuries ago Romulans and Vulcans were the same violent race, after a great war, the more violent of the species were banished from the planet, whilst the remainders stayed to control their emotions. The emotional ones are the Romulans, so called as they settled on the planet Romulas. The Vulcans who stayed on the planet, living a peaceful existence opposed to the Romulans life of warfare, espionage and paranoia.

This is fantastic, I think that for such a low budget product Areakt productions have done a fantastic job and the stories are quite interesting. I would like to see other people produce a series of this magnatude and quality in under three months. I think for actors who dont have any formal training they are doing a pretty damned good job. I have seen some hollywood actors that are worse.

Ok, please, no more until you fix several things:
Render your graphics in a better way. The bridge effects look very superficial. It is the same with the Odyssey. It's unusually smooth for a star ship with many components.
The acting sucks. Just plain sucks. It sounds that either: A. These people are reading off of cards, or B. They're constipated.
The theme music doesn't fit the Star Trek motif of strong instruments.
Other than that, the space fight was pretty cool.

These are fans, working on, last time I checked, a budget of zero dollars. I am not exaggerating when I say it is absolutely amazing--in the classical sense of being frozen in shck--that Areakt Productions is able to produce material of this level in under three months. Sets HAVE to be greenscreened, the theme HAS to use virtual instruments, the acting HAS to be volunteer.
You may have intended friendly advice, but it just comes across as ignorant of how hard they're already working at this.
