2) Tibet was not just its own culture, language and ethnicity, Tibet ( within China) could be a democracy, not a theocracy, again like Hong Kong.

Why didn't the white settler get the hell out of Americas when they got attacked by Indians? Historically, Tibetan has its own god kings (Dalai Lama, and Panchen Lama being the two main sects), but pays tribute to China for protection. It lacks standing army to defend itself, and pays tribute to imperial China for protection. Chinese emperor gets to choose the Dalai Lama from a list of potential candidates. The relationship remains.

Be real, tibet cannot defend itself against any of its neighbors if it were indepedent today. It will be invaded by India if China wasn't around. The "little tibet" or the buddist kingdom of Assem were taken over by India, former portugese colony of Goa was indepedent until India invaded. Kashmir with 90% of muslim population is still occupied by India, with death toil exceeding 600,000 continue to grow today. Even the tibetan exiles are theated like second-class citizens in India today.

Like I said before, YOU NEED TO LEARN ECONOMICS/FINANCE. 99% if not all, of developed countries owes public debt to USA. And USA owes $9 TRILLION in public debt themselves. China holds US Treasury securities and has foreign exchanges reserves totaling more than US$1.5 trillion. The US trade deficit with China last yr alone totaled $252 billion and it gets worse every yr. China can call on those debts at ANYTIME! If US economy collapses, so does EVERY developed country.

Dalai Lama renounced Tibetan independance a long time ago & has urgerd China to come to the negotiating table time & again. But China does not seem to be able to get over its paranoia of a "splittist Dalai clique". Why is China so afraid to talk to Dalai Lama?

What facts are missing from this report? Tibetans came into a CHinese town. They tried to raid police headquarters. They burned a Chinese flag and replaced it with a Tibetan flag. The Chinese fought back, and some Tibetans got hurt. Where's the distortion?

I urge all free countries and all free people to see through this bullshit. In the end you will realize that there are some countries who care and fight for freedom and others just don't. And yes I'm talking about the USA which is the only superpower who fights and cares for freedom. Yes the USA did horrible things and made mistakes but sometimes you have to be cruel in order to reach a more important goal. Wake up free people before its too late! Know your real friends and don't back down!
