  • who are those poeple? see i would have never accept to be paid to say this...

  • some sweet info here

  • Aren't you the bestest ever then! Does anyone actually need paper anymore? Get new jobs guys, one where you don't have to lie through your teeth on camera.

  • Way to tell part of the story guys. Why don't you mention that the trees you do plant are usually southern yellow pine, which have a very quick growth/harvest life. What's the problem with this? If you continue over planting this one species then you'll eventually cripple our eco system. How? Suppose a particular bug or fungus decides it loves your cash crop and starts to devour it. You're not diversified so you're now exposed. Let's try having less babies. That's a sustainable move for ya!

  • KanadianKain,

There are many fine papers made from non-wood fibers. Hemp makes a very tough durable paper. I understand that the Declaration of Independence was copied on to hemp to be distributed to the colonies for review.

  • cut down one and plant three? screw that efficiency, grow hemp, much quicker time to harvest, and can be grown to true sustainability much easier. Which more positive effects on the surrounding environment. therefore increasing global fertility.

OR better yet, theres an even easier method for you to do this. simply buy the hemp pulp from sustainable farmers. You can still make these positive claims, but possibly add more. like 'buying our product - makes your world better' . (marketing aspect)

  • Unless they are talking about their company alone about the planting three for every tree they cut down than this is false. Our forests and rainforests are disappearing and we need to make a major comeback before 2020 or else these changes wont be reverseable

  • What I don't like that they say is that they plant 3 for every one tree they cut down. However, have they thought that the death rate of trees will surpass the growth rate? Trees need quite a bit of time to grow.
